Resident Services Demonstration Project
NPF’s Resident Services Project strives to build the capacity of CDC resident services programs throughout Oregon. CDCs are deeply rooted in their communities and have long-term, unique relationships with the people who live in their housing. By coordinating, designing, accessing and otherwise helping residents obtain key services, CDC have helped individuals reach their fullest potential. While doing this important work, CDCs have also helped strengthen their own businesses.
The Resident Services Project has a three-pronged approach of support:
- Capacity Investments to CDCs throughout the State to help strengthen and increase organizational capacity to successfully operate resident service programs.
- Targeted Training and Technical Assistance to help build the skills of staff working with residents.
- Independent Evaluation to help describe and demonstrate the impact of resident service programs on the lives of affordable housing residents
